Accommodation for Women – Spotlight on Wales

July 14, 2015 by Rosemary

The Women’s Accommodation Network on Women Travel lists hundreds of special places for women travelers to stay.  Some are for women only, almost all are women run.  Here is one of them:

Over the Rainbow in Wales
A Vegetarian Guest House in Cardigan Bay Wales

over the rainbowB&B Accommodation, though is also a great place for a group event, including weddings and workshops.  It is run by women, primarily for women with décor reflects that influences of female myths & legends from around the world. There is even a cosy single ensuite room for solo women travelers.

Ideally suited for those walking the Wales Coastpath, it is in a peaceful secluded rural location, but just three miles from the Cardigan Coast.  Once or twice a year they offer trips for women exploring the Cardigan Bay Area.

GTBS-Wales-GoldThere are five well appointed, sumptuous centrally heated rooms reflecting the influences of female myths & legends. Two twin rooms, two large doubles one single.  All with tea & coffee facilities.

No worries about being cold – The house has full central heating, plus wood burning stoves in the dining room, guest lounge and ballroom.
