Why To Spend Your Holiday In Koh Samui Thailand

February 11, 2017 by Rosemary

It’s a shame that so many people decide to spend their holidays somewhere they already visited. I understand that there’s something irreplaceable in that familiar feeling, when you know exactly what to expect, but you need to be aware of the fact you’re missing out.

Koh Samui Thailand
Koh Samui Thailand

If you are a travel enthusiast and you enjoy discovering new countries and meeting new people, then each one of your next locations needs to be exotic and completely different than those you visited before. And the one I’m about to suggest should be on the top of your checklist because it’s real paradise on Earth.

It’s a SPA paradise

Koh Samui Thailand - Spa HeavenThe minute you land to this magical Thai island called Koh Samui, you’ll be charmed by its wonders – their airport is probably the most beautiful one in the world because it’s surrounded by gardens.

The very next thing you’ll notice are relaxed happy people and that’s not a coincidence, because this island is practically one big SPA center and not a regular one – once you explore the secrets of Asian beauty and relaxing treatments, I seriously doubt that you’ll be able to enjoy anything else.

Luxurious Residences

Koh Samui is known by its luxury – this island is filled with hotels, villas and Samui condos for rent and I doubt deciding between residences will be easy for you. The fact is that you can’t make a mistake with either one of them, but it will be difficult to make a choice because all of them look ridiculously extravagant, so you’ll probably want to take your time.

Secret Garden

Koh Samui 3If you’re up for an adventure, there’s something very exciting you can do on the Koh Samui island. Deep in the jungle, there’s a secret garden filled with sculptures of mythological beings related to Buddhism and I assure you that you’ll have a spiritual journey of your own while in this secret place. You should also know that it took them twenty-four years to build this. An amazing artist called Nim Thongsuk envisioned this beauty.

Namuang Waterfalls

These are not just your usual waterfalls – Namtok Na Mueang translates as Purple Waterfalls, and they got their name because of the purple reflection the water mirrors off the rocks. Once you’re done swimming there, you can continue to a nearby elephant safari, and have a ride through the jungle. You should also know that there are more waterfalls on the island, but this one will take your breath away.

I didn’t even mention Koh Samui’s clubs, sandy beaches, bars, and restaurants, or how delicious the local cuisine is, but that’s nothing compared to the things we listed above. This whole experience is unique and you’ll have a lot of fun. It doesn’t really matter who are you traveling with – your family, friends, or your partner – because this island has a lot to offer to anyone who decides to visit.
