For Women Travelling Through Sydney, May We Present—the BEST Hotel Spas

Whether you’re travelling through New South Wales for business, or pleasure, the hotel spa should be a requirement for every woman travelling alone; or even, not alone! A nice relaxing break from the kids, or even the spouse or boyfriend, works too!

Stress, jet lag, more stress, meetings, more meetings, stress… it’s time to break the cycle, honey. You need it, and you know that you need it.

SPA2There’s a reason why a 2012 survey commissioned by Hilton Hotel and Resorts reported that nearly half of its respondents stated that one of the most important factors for them, in choosing a hotel, was the existence of an in-hotel spa.

Who doesn’t want to have all of their stress rubbed right out of their body?! In fact, I would even go so far as to say that this trend is hardly exclusive to women.

Now, travelling through New South Wales and the Sydney, Australia area should get the spa-lover very excited, because there’s a plethora of outstanding and luxurious options to choose from.  You can learn more about these hotels on the Accor Hotels website by clicking here.

TOP 5 HOTEL SPAS IN NEW SOUTH WALES

SPA21. THE DARLING Sydney
Whether a 15-minute spruce is a needed, or a 3-hour slip into heaven, this spa can deliver to the nines. Devine luxury combined with a spacious 16-room setup, makes a woman feel as though she’s wandered off the beaten path and just keeps finding sanctuary after sanctuary, all filled with products made from native Australian plants. Goosebumps.

2.     THE BYRON AT BYRON—Byron Bay
Breathe in “the spirit at Byron” and experience a treatment or two, such as the Rainforest Body Ritual and the Native Flora Journey. Oh, but before you sink into those, be sure to sink into the giant open-air hot tub; then, feel free to meander through the spa’s six treatment rooms for the good stuff

SPA13.     WOLGAN VALLEY—Blue Mountains
Experiencing those winter blues? Take a journey up to the blue mountains and find yourself lounging next to the massive stone fireplace located in this spa’s aptly named “relaxation room”. When you’ve warmed those bones, take a soak in the private Japanese-style soaking tubs within their six double treatment rooms.

4.     PARK HYATT—Sydney
On a stressful business venture in Sydney? Desperately need a retreat within the city walls? This recently opened spa is exactly what the doctor ordered and is located conveniently with the historic Rocks area. Experience the ultimate combination of things: massages, desserts, and champagne—how does one say no to that?

5.     LAKE CRACKENBACK RESORT—Crackenback
Consider yourself a little more the outdoorsy type? Do mountain views, fresh air, and the crisp alpine wilderness sound like your nirvana? Well, little lady, such a place does exist and it’s right here in Crackenback. With five treatment rooms, you’ll experience peace, quiet, and enjoyable solitude while cuddled in a soft bamboo robe upon organic cotton sheets. I’m a city girl, myself, but… I could certainly make an exception!
