Find your Tango Goddess
in Buenos Aires
21 March – 1 April 2019
Rachel Glaser teaches Argentine Tango in Cape Town South Africa, and she has put together this amazing tour to Buenos Aires, the home of this style of dancing.
Argentine tango is a dance of connection between two people that evolved in Buenos Aires and Uruguay from around the 1880’s .
It is graceful, intimate, sensual and intricate, borrowing from African and European musical and dance traditions. It is a continually evolving dance form and there are different styles of Argentine tango which vary according to the size of the steps, the type of embrace( closed, open) and the range of steps used.
Rachel Glaser has been teaching tango for 17 years and has studied dance intensively in Buenos Aires with some of the world’s best teachers. Rachel loves to teach adventurous people to connect, dance tango elegantly and have fun in classes, retreats and on wunderlust tango trips to Buenos Aires.
My passion is to share the complex and subtle beauty of the dance – the way that it awakens sensual, non-verbal communication, a mindful connection with our partner; and its unique ability to braid together our mind, body and spirit.
