Just 60 Kms from Florence is this magical walled City. A few years ago some friends and I spent a week there in an apartment. What a magical time it was. We shopped in the market, we joined the locals and walked the city walls every evening, and went out to hear Opera – Lucca was the birthplace of Puccini, so Opera is always a feature.
