A short interview with Natalia
Why did you choose to become a tour leader?
I have always worked as a tour guide but I think it is important to have new challenges. So when I decided to become a tour leader, I took a step further. I like contact with new people and this job is a wonderful opportunity to show my country and our traditions to our guests.
What do you like on French Escapade tours?
I like it because every day is different with new experiences. On the French Escapade website, you can read “ Don’t be a tourist, be our guest” and I enjoy trying to give the best of myself to make every day a unique experience. In addition, I like leading small groups of people because it gives me the chance to know fantastic people.
What was the highlight of your touring season with French Escapade?

I love gastronomy and in my opinion, if you want to discover a country, you must also experience it through food. I am proud of my Catalan origins, and that’s why, I am a fan of “Pa amb tomata”, the typical toast with tomato we eat along our meals. I would brag so much about it at every meal that after a few days, when waiters would serve Pa amb Tomata, people from the groups would say: “here comes Natalia’s bread!”. That was very funny, and it was a reward for me, a sort a connexion between them and my culture.
