When travelling to the United States, you must either travel under the ESTA waiver programme or have a US visa. An ESTA allows you to travel and stay in the US for up to 90 days as well as allowing travel to Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. New York
New York is one of the most famous and iconic cities in the world and features a slick, sophisticated skyline that will suit the style of your girl’s holiday. Whether you’re looking to experience international culture, head into museums and art galleries or drink and dine until your heart’s content across the five boroughs in the city, there’s something for everyone in the city. It is a city where you live on the street – leave your accommodation in the morning and don’t return until the evening.

Miami
If you’re looking for total relaxation on your girl’s holiday then Miami should be the first stop for you. Located in Florida, it is home to glamorous white sand beaches and trendsetting nightclubs. It is one of the most popular vacation spots in the state and in the world and the luxury hotels are fabulous.
New Orleans
If music, culture and history are what you’re looking for, then a trip to New Orleans could be the perfect choice for your girl’s holiday. Try to time your trip for April and May so you can get to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. You can’t experience New Orleans culture without being in New Orleans. The Mardi Gras parade, the traditional streetcars, learn how to cook jambalaya and the state’s own brand of food, music and art. The people in New Orleans know how to live life to the fullest and run at a slightly different rhythm to the rest of the United States, so if you’re looking for a culture filled girl’s holiday then New Orleans should be first on your list.
Hawaii
Hawaiian weather is perfect all year round, and is top of the list of many people’s dream holiday. If you’re looking for some aloha spirit, beautiful beaches of all different colours, towering volcanoes, and traditional foods then Hawaii is the perfect spot. The oceans offer some of the best activities too, with surfing being one of the top water sports on the island.
San Francisco
San Francisco is one of my favourite cities, set around a magnificent harbour – I love the way you can get around so easy on public transport. There are an endless amount of chic shops, cafes and bars, but you can also take guided walking expeditions to experience the quieter side of the city – Some of my favourites are doing the guided walk in the gay area of the Castro, catching a ferry to Salsilito and walking across the Golden Gate Bridge. My first stop is usually for clam chowder at Pier 39.
