Explore The Beauty Of Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park.

February 23, 2016 by Rosemary

Yellowstone-Wolf-HowlThis week I saw the most amazing video about wolves being returned to Yellowstone National Park and how it changed the entire environment, and eventually changed the course of the river. An inspirational video – scroll below to see it.  So Wyoming and Yellowstone got added to my bucket list.

Of all the places to explore and travel in the United States, Wyoming has to be one of the most beautiful. If you have a love for landscape photography, you won’t be disappointed with the stunning scenery on offer in this delightful state. The state of Wyoming has long been a traveler’s favorite too and has become quite a trendy tourist destination as well. For an opportunity to see the very best natural beauty that America has to offer, you shouldn’t miss out on Wyoming.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is a great place to take your family, your partner, or your friends, to see nature at its best.  It has become a firm favorite for Americans and international tourists alike where people camp or stay in cabins to enjoy nature at it’s best, following the amazing trails.

Yellowstone National Park is also home to hundreds of wonderful wildlife species. This protected area offers you the chance to see plenty of flora and fauna. Best of all, it’s all in the natural environment. Birds and mammals are frequently spotted. Visitors are warned that some animals can be mischievous, and others can be dangerous. It’s always best to adhere to warning signs and follow paths if this is not your natural environment.

Jackson Hole

Other delightful parts of Wyoming that have become quite popular include Jackson. It’s also named the Jackson Hole because of its valley. This area at the foot of the mountains is near to the border with Idaho. This town is well known for Jackson Hole lodging accommodation and hotels for visitors to the region. Skiing has become a popular attraction to help support the town economy. Of course, it’s a great place to stop over during any tour of the United States.

Skiing in the Rocky Mountains

For those who prefer climbing to skiing, why not head toward the Rocky Mountains? The opportunities to climb are sometimes weather dependent. But you can find plenty of specialists in the area to take you through the region. They’ll show you some of the best spots to test your skills. Best of all, the photographic opportunities come thick and fast throughout the day. Look out for the light and cloud cover to change. This is by far the most dramatic place for stunning photography!

Other Wyoming Attractions

  • Wyoming has a number of good museums to visit. The area has a richer history than you would think. Much of this area is built on the importance of the natural wildlife and terrain here. The museums provide some excellent exhibits. Many explore the relationship between settlers, the native peoples, and the environment.
  • No visit to Wyoming is complete without a visit to Old Faithful. This gushing geyser can be found in Yellowstone Park and is reliable enough to guarantee a spectacular show of water. The eruptions are powerful and provide a fabulous photo opportunity for the skilled camera operator.

Wyoming has a lot to offer and is guaranteed to delight as part of your tour of the United States. Whether you come for the landscapes or the experience of nature at its best, you won’t be disappointed. Make your next stop in Wyoming.
