Haida Gwaii Kayak Adventure

October 9, 2015 by Rosemary

Wild Women Expeditions is just one of the fabulous women focused travel companies listed on Women Travel the World.  Their next dates for this trip is 15-22 August 2016.

gwaii-Kayak-1“I just got back from Haida Gwaii. OMG, it was the most amazing trip ever! Everything was perfect! This trip was exceptional in every way. The food was amazing and the place itself is beyond anything I imagined.

The beauty, the sea, the camaraderie, the silence, the lack of bugs, the extensive knowledge of the guides, the safeness I felt in the sea because of those guides and I am not a very experienced paddler either.

gwaii4My spirit is renewed, my daily life is now graced with thoughts of the peacefulness I felt. The women I shared this journey with touched my heart and soul. This trip goes to the top of my pile of ‘trips of a lifetime’.”

– Faye Blondin, Ontario

gwaii2Haida Gwaii, an incredible island archipelago located off the mainland of British Columbia, is one of the most spectacular sea kayaking destinations in the world.

This Wild Women Expeditions kayak journey takes place in the home of the Haida First Nation and will travel traditional waterways and visit ancient cultural sites in Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Gwaii Haanas was voted the #1 wilderness park destination in North America by National Geographic and the name means “Islands of Beauty.”

Be a Wild Woman, and Come explore this beautiful marine paradise for yourself!
