Multi Centre Holiday – Another Way To Travel on your Own

May 24, 2015 by Rosemary

Traveling on our own has its delights and its challenges
Traveling on our own has its delights and its challenges

My parents started traveling in their 60s. They booked their first night in Athens and from then on found their way via trains and accommodation across Europe.

I envy them.  To feel ‘safe’ I need to get a bit more planning under belt, but no way do I want to find myself on a busload of people all going to the same place.

A new option I have just come across from UK based eShores is a multi centre holiday.  You choose from their range of options, where you want to go and they make it work for you in a personalised itinerary.

I am always keen to see off the beaten track, but I am also keen to learn from others to have done it before, and who can recommend the best way to get from A to B to C, while diverting via Z!

Australia – this is my home country, so I was interested in what kind of itineraries eShores would have.  Their base package seems to be from 2-3 weeks, prices include Flights, Hotels and Transfers. There are several here that really tempt me.

  • Great Barrier Reef is a must for me.
Great Barrier Reef is a must for me.

Rock and Reef – 14 days that take me from Singapore to Sydney, to Uluru (Ayers Rock) and the Great Barrier Reef.

  • Islands and Reef – 14 days visiting Sydney and Brisbane with the Whitsunday Islands, Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef.

India – I am just back from my first trip to India and the magical Kerala – God’s own country in the South West of India, so I am interested in itineraries that might include Kerala.

  • House boat in Kerala backwaters

Golden Triangle and more – here they offer an itinerary that includes the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with a visit to Kerala.

  • Delhi and Kerala – Even better I think – to combine the full on life of Delhi with time to relax and unwind in Kerala.

What do you think

– will a multi centre holiday help you to travel well?
