Women Travel has a unique Accommodation Network
Not thousands of options, but a few very good options to stay with local women as you travel. For instance I have just added a small homestay in Jaipur India to the network – it is called Aaban Homestay.
Run by Nahid Jahaan, it is in a quiet area in the the tranquil environment of South Jaipur. Nahid is a Plant Pathologist, and lives their with her husband Yusuf Khurram who is a film maker, and folk theatre educator – read more about him here www.desertartsindia.com. They also have two teenage sons, one of whom speaks a little French, while all of them speak English well.
They offer two rooms – one an independent room – with bed, toilet, drawing room and kitchen, or a a double room with attached toilet.
This is a safe space for female travellers. The room includes sitting room, double bed, private bathroom, fans and AC included. Of course we have WiFi and bicycle 🙂
